- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 tbsp. chopped green pepper
- 1/3 c. chopped celery
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 recipe Bisquick biscuits
Cook onions in hot fat until golden. Add green pepper, celery, ground beef, salt and pepper. Cook slightly. Sprinkle with flour; mix well. Add water. Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
Make biscuits with Bisquick, roll out to about 1/2" thick. Spread meat mixture over all and roll as for jelly roll. Cut and bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes.
Serve with hot mushroom sauce made of 1 can mushroom soup and 1/2 can milk....and the hamburger meat recipe whirls are ready to serve....delicious ! enjoy !
